Denise Lee Richards (born February 17 1971, height 5'5 1/2" (1,66 meters)) was an American actor and fashion model. She made a name for herself during the 90s, with many films that emphasized sexual attraction, including Starship Troopers Wild Things, and The World Is Not Enough. Denise Richards' reality television show, It's Complex, airs on the American channel E! Richards is born in Downers Grove Illinois the daughter of Joni who is the owner of a cafe and Irv Richards a telephone engineer. She has a sibling Michelle and lived in both Mokena and Downers Grove Illinois. In 1989, she graduated of El Camino High School in Oceanside California. In her younger days, Richards was the sole female member of her team. Richards started her modeling profession as a model through the Judith Fontaine Modeling & Talent Agency. Through the 90s she starred in budget TV movies like Saved by the Bell and played guest roles on several TV episodes like Married with Children (a 5-second walkthrough) in 1991. Starship Troopers was her first big role in a theater. This was followed up in 1998 with Wild Things, a moderately popular cult movie.
