Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen hails from St. Louis Missouri and is a American model, songwriter, singer and actress. Her most well-known work is her character Jenny Humphrey on the CW series Gossip Girl and as the lead singer of rock band The Pretty Reckless. Momsen's songs have been featured in television and film shows that include How to Be a Single and the show Going the Mile. Taylor Momsen, born in July 1993, has an elder sister Sloane Momsen. She studied dancing at the Center of Creative Arts St. Louis. When she was just three, she was a professional actor in the Shake 'n Bake commercial for national television. Momsen's acting career came to abruptly stop during a span of three years. Momsen was then offered the role of the main role in Misconceptions in the series Misconceptions on WB. Momsen played a role in Saving Shiloh 2006 during this period. In addition, she was one of three leading potential candidates for Hannah Montana's lead part. But, Miley Cyrus was awarded the role.
