Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez has been a Mexican American actress, singer and songwriter for a number of years. She was raised by her mother, in the USA. Raised with racial taunts and made to feel unwanted. It was during her ninth year that she started to feel more confident following her acclaim at an audition. It not only increased her confidence, but also her goals changed. At the age of 22 she was a graduate of New York's Julliard School. At the age of 23 years old, she launched her journey in Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman. Then, at 23 years old she made her film debut in You've got mail. Her biggest breakthrough was when she played the character in the role of The Lady of The Lake in the very first Broadway show Spamalot receiving not just an award called the Tony Award for her performance but also a flurry of praise from critics. The following year, she was cast as the character Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her becoming more famous. As a well-known singer, she has also recorded songs and plays. In her role as an activist, she works tirelessly in the cause of LGBT equality.

Alexa Chung, a British model and TV host is also a contributing editor of British Vogue. She was born in Privett Hampshire as her parents being Gillian Chung and Phillip Chung.
